Terms
& Conditions
Age
Restrictions
The minimum Age for participants on all events is 18 years of
age or older, however, some events may have an age restriction
of 21 years of age, please check at the time of booking.
Alcohol & Drugs
Important.
We have a strictly ‘no alcohol’ policy and if anyone arrives who
is, in our opinion, under the influence of alcohol or drugs and
or is suspected of bringing alcoholic drinks or drugs to an event
they will not be allowed to stay for the duration of the night
and will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
Health & Safety
We have a written Health & Safety policy, but we cannot be
held responsible for members of the public who are attending and
who do not abide by these rules.
Due to the
Health & Safety risks at our locations, it is strongly recommended
that the following people do not attend: Pregnant women, people
who suffer from chronic heart conditions, high blood pressure,
stress related illnesses, claustrophobia , people who are scared
of the dark, the elderly or infirm with limited mobility and people
in wheelchairs.
People with
mobility problems should enquire before purchasing a ticket as
to the suitability of the venue.
Smoking and Fire Hazards
We only permit smoking in designated, outdoor smoking areas and
during specified smoking breaks which we will inform you of upon
arrival at and during the event. Please do not bring candles or
any other items that may be potential fire hazards. Battery operated
torches are acceptable.
Accommodation
You will be expected to remain awake during the event and therefore
there will be no facilities for sleeping at overnight events unless
specifically advertised in the event description.
Accidents
Although it is unusual for accidents to occur, and every precaution
is taken to avoid such incidents, due to the nature and location
of many venues, accidents/incidents may happen and all guests
should preferably have their own third party public liability
insurance. Our insurers have advised us that our public liability
policies may not cover your party during an event as some events
take place in areas that are not generally open to the public.
In attending the location, you do so at your own risk and we will
accept no liability for any accident or injury that may occur
to yourselves , however this may be caused.
Personal Possessions
All possessions that you have brought to the event with you are
your own responsibility, and all clothing, equipment, vehicles
and effects belonging to you or your guests, remain your responsibility
at all times. We will not be held responsible for any loss, theft
or damage to your belongings and we would strongly recommend that
you do not bring valuable items to an event.
Behaviour
We would remind all participants in our events that ghost hunts
and investigations, by their very nature, can be reserved affairs
as well as being interesting and fun. Therefore, we would ask,
that if you are thinking of joining us as a larger group, that
is looking for a humorous night, that you consider whether our
type of event would be suitable for you. Disruptive behaviour
will not be tolerated out of consideration to the team members
and the other participants. It is required that throughout the
event, you and all of your party will be asked to behave in an
orderly and sensible manner so that no harm or injury is caused
to anyone or anything else be that animal, physical or material.
If at any
time we determine that you are not behaving in a responsible manner
or that you are not showing respect for other people and their
possessions, you will be asked to leave the event & no refunds
will be given.
Cancelled or postponed events
Unfortunately, there are rare occasions when an event may be cancelled
due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.
When this happens, we will make every effort to reschedule the
event and you will be offered tickets for the new date or a full
refund. If we are not able to reschedule the event, or you are
not able to attend on the new date you will be given a prompt
refund of the ticket cost. We regret that any travelling or accommodation
expenses that you have independently booked will not be refunded.
Entertainment
You are advised that any services from us are for entertainment
purposes. Our team members are professional people who take their
work seriously, however, all statements made by our team are made
using their own personal opinion and may not reflect the opinions
of others. The ghost hunts and vigils are primarily for entertainment
purposes and any comments or information stated by the mediums
or clairvoyants are their own senses and beliefs and it is up
to you to make up your own opinion on what you are told and should
not be taken as being the only course of action. It is unusual
if we do not experience activity during our events, but we cannot
and do not guarantee that you will experience any activity.
Weather Conditions/Appropriate Clothing
Any event that is due to take place either in part or wholly in
the open air could be affected by a variety of weather conditions.
If this occurs, we reserve the right to change or relocate the
event to an area that protects participants from the conditions.
Due to the nature of the events, most events can be relocated
and/or amended without affecting the entertainment and enjoyment
of the event. It is your own personal responsibility to wear suitable
clothing for the weather conditions and due to the fact that there
can be a dramatic raise or drop of temperature, we would recommend
that you wear layers of clothing that can be removed or replaced
as necessary.
Legal
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify
the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability
in respect of any costs or claims, damages, demands, penalties,
actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of
or arising from injury to or death of any person or damage to
any property arising from your participation in the chosen event
